Introducing the Hazendal Carignan. Carignan remains a rarity in the South African winelands. Carignan shines brightly as a wine of voluptuous power and elegance; a wine that is a true embodiment of the spirit and vigour of its Spanish roots. The Hazendal Limited Release Carignan 2017, inspired by the sensuous flowing lines of a flamenco dancer’s dress and the topography of the land that shaped it, is a tribute to this proud Spanish cultivar. Our task was to conceptualise and design the packaging for this limited release, to pay homage to the wine’s rich heritage and unique character.
